Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) January ten, 2015
What is the future of the Amazon.com Fire phone? asks FastCompany magazine in their Feb 2015 concern.

Sector analyst Jeff Kagan gives comment.

“Amazon.com had such higher hopes for their new Fire phone. They believed it would transform the wireless industry and their mail order enterprise. They have been wrong, at least so far. But do not count them out. I think Amazon.com will continue to operate on the Fire phone until it becomes a good results simply because of one important reason,” says Wireless Analyst Jeff Kagan.

“Amazon.com sees the Fire phone as a lot more than just a smartphone competitor to the iPhone or Android. They see it as a way to boost sales from Amazon.com. They know when clients consider about ordering some thing, if they are close to a computer all they have to do is click a couple of times and the solution is on the way. On the other hand when buyers are out and have to wait to get back to their personal computer, they usually either modify their mind or forget. That is a loss that Amazon desires to fix,” says Technologies Analyst Kagan.

Not every single competitor in the smartphone space succeeds. In truth very couple of truly succeed. Apple iPhone and Google Android like the Samsung Galaxy have the vast majority of market share. Other people are in the low single digits.

The Facebook phone was an instance of a smartphone flop two years ago. This is a company who wanted to compete with the Apple iPhone and Google Android, but fell on it is face in quite quick order.

The Amazon.com Fire phone is different from the Facebook phone disaster. They are much less interested in competing with other smartphone makers and more interested in utilizing the Fire telephone to enhance sales at Amazon.com

“This is the major explanation why the Amazon.com Fire phone story is not over. They will keep on trying to increase it till it becomes specifically what they want… a common smartphone for Amazon.com buyers to use to buy much more stuff,” says Tech Analyst Kagan.

“When I give speeches on advertising and positioning, I often talk about this Amazon.com Fire telephone story. How a year ago just ahead of Amazon.com announced their Fire phone, everybody was speaking. I wrote about it a number of times and was quickly asked by Amazon to stop. Imagine that. And I believed that if something all this focus was helping them. However Amazon.com likes to stay in the drivers seat,” says Kagan.

“That obsession can be costly. No one did quit nonetheless. There was a lot of talk about how funny it was to hear a business asking the analyst and media community to quit speaking and considering and writing about them. You would consider that would be precisely what any organization would want, right?” says Telecom Analyst Kagan.

“So Amazon.com is stumbling about correct now attempting to figure out why the very first Fire telephone was a flop. I fully expect to see Fire Telephone two coming out later this year,” says Kagan.

“There are no guarantees that Amazon.com will be effective with the Fire telephone. Nevertheless I do not expect them to stroll away swiftly either. This is anything they will spend lots of time tweaking and trying to make profitable. The cause is it will support them sell much more stuff on Amazon.com. So stay tuned,” says Kagan.
